Finca Ixobel is a working-farm, a guesthouse and a campground located in the wild Peten department, 5 km away from the town of Poptun. The property is a beautiful pine forest surrounded by spectacular jungles. Most of all, staying at Finca Ixobel will bring you the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of exciting activities.

You have plenty of options to choose from regarding your accommodation. The options available include dormitories, private rooms with private or shared bathroom, bungalows and tree houses. The campground also provides facilities for camping, motor-homes or sleeping in a hammock. A single suite can be found among lush gardens.

You won’t have much time to get bored while staying at Ixobel. Take a stroll through the pines, climb hills for spectacular views, visit the natural spring, experience the exciting adventure of caving inside the limestone hills , go horseback riding, inner tubing or jungle trekking and much more.

The restaurant offers great food using only fresh ingredients produced in the farm and the farm’s bakery produces a wide variety of bread, muffins, sweet rolls, etc. The prices range from $0.40 for staying at a hammock to $55 for a large suite for 5 persons. There is even an option to stay as a volunteer with room and board in exchange for work with a minimum stay for 6 weeks.
