The Guatemalan Recreation Institute for Private Sector Employees, IRTRA, was created more than 30 years ago to develop recreation projects for the employees of the companies affiliated with the Institute. Over the last two decades IRTRA has developed it’s most ambitious project in the south-western department of Retalhuleu: a huge complex of hotels and theme parks that have become the favorite destination for many Guatemalan families.
The “hostals” of IRTRA is a modern and beautiful complex of 4 hotels with a total of 669 rooms which makes it the biggest hotel in Guatemala. The hotels were inspired in 4 different themes: San Martin ($35-$45) is designed in Guatemalan Colonial architecture, Santa Cruz ($50-$70) was inspired by the Mediterranean culture, Palajunoj ($30 - $130) reproduces the Oceania architecture and La Rancheria ($70-$100) is a complex of bungalows designed to accommodate families.
All the rooms are equipped with private bathroom, cable TV and telephone. Air Conditioning is available in most of the accommodations. This beautiful hotel complex offers a variety of leisure facilities, several restaurants inside its premises, beautiful gardens and of course, complimentary transportation to Xocomil and Xetulul theme parks.

I need accomodations for three families.They can be rooms with double beds or Family bungalows. # 1) Family of four, two adults and two teenagers (two double beds). #2) One double bed for a couple #3)Family of 3, it can be 2 double beds or one single and one with two beds. # 4) Two people, it can be two separate single rooms (preferred) or, one room with two beds, as a last option.
