Monoloco “The Funky monkey” is located one block from the Central Park (on 5th avenue south) in La Antigua Guatemala.
This bar/restaurant is the perfect place to start your evening and the place in Guatemala to have Nachos, big style. There are several options from meat and/or chicken to vegetarians nachos. However, they also offer burgers, sandwiches, great quesadillas and all sorts of drinks.
The first floor of Monoloco is a great place to check a sports game with your friends. If you need a bigger table, or just want to take advantage of the great weather, head for the terrace in the second floor.
The service might be a little slow when the place is crowded, but just for those nachos, it’s worth the wait!

Just make sure you carry some Pepto-Bismol or Pepcid with you cause those nachos’ side effects are a real and present danger…even for yourself…hahaha

Those nachos are humongous. If you can’t eat them all yourself, try a burrito. They are big and delicious.

This was our absolute favorite place to eat. We made friends and the food is awsome. I loved everything that we tried. I miss you Funky Monkey!

This place is TOO popular..the nachos are the best, ever..
But maybe you should try something like “Cafe No Se”….
